Booking and Cancellation Policies-Effective 2025
Boarding Only and Board and Train Packages
- Valid CC must be on file when the reservation is requested.
- A 50% deposit will be charged at reservation request. If the reservation cannot be confirmed the deposit will be refunded.
- Proof of current vaccinations must be provided before a reservation can be confirmed.
- Major Holidays and Other Peak Days*: Cancellation must be made within 14 days of the confirmed reservation, or the deposit will be non-refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours and no shows will be charged for the entire stay.
- Non-Peak/Non-Holiday: Cancellations must be made within 7 days of the reservation, or the deposit will be non-refundable. Cancellations made within 24 hours and no shows will be charged for the entire stay.
- Cancellation Policies include modifications of a reservation that result in fewer days, the cancelled days will be charged if modified after the cancellation period.

Daycare
- Valid CC must be on file.
- Proof of current and up to date vaccinations are required.
- Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of confirmed reservation, or the full day will be charged.
Grooming
- Valid CC must be on file.
- Proof of current and up to date vaccinations are required.
- Cancellations must be made within 72 hours of confirmed appointment, or the full price of the service(s) will be charged.

Reservations
- All guests must be at least 4 months of age to stay with Greater Boston Dog
- A suite can only be guaranteed if the reservation is confirmed.
- A reservation can only be confirmed if the following is on file:
- valid credit card
- proof of current vaccinations
- Boarding rates apply on a per calendar day basis.
- Check in hours are Monday-Friday 8am-10am and 2pm-6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9am-11am and 5pm-7pm
- No show: Check in must be completed by the close of business on the scheduled day or the kennel will be released, and the reservation cancelled.
- Checkout is by 10am Monday through Friday, after which an additional day will be charged.
- Checkout is by 11am Saturday and Sunday, after which an additional day will be charged.
- All check-ins and check-outs must be conducted during stated hours, or a $25 fee will be applied.
- GBD reserves the right to cancel any reservation for missing or out of date vaccinations, invalid credit cards / non-payment, dog presenting unwell at check in
- A trial day for boarding and daycare is required.
Health
Greater Boston Dog will not accept the following guests:
- That have a terminal illness and are in the late stages of that illness
- That have a communicable illness of any kind during the 30 days prior to check-in
- That have been exposed to a communicable illness 30 days prior to check-in
- That require medical treatment beyond the dispensing and administering of oral or topical medication, except for insulin injections
We recommend that all guests be on a regular internal (worms) and external (flea and tick) treatment program. If external parasites are discovered upon check-in, a flea/tick bath will be required at owner/guardian’s expense. Additionally, if internal parasites such as worms are discovered during the stay, treatment and/or specialized medical care fees may apply at the owner’s expense.
Vaccinations
All guests must have proof of current vaccinations against Rabies, Canine Influenza, DHLPP, Bordetella, and proof of negative fecal sample from your veterinarian
